Papercraft and Collage will give you the opportunity to explore a range of papercraft techniques including collage. We will be focusing on using these techniques in different ways to build up compositions on paper and card, as well as learning how to create papercraft decorations. This course will teach you new ways of thinking and working with paper.
This course aims to give learners a good understanding of different processes and techniques to create papercraft projects and collages. Learners will develop skills to use a variety of materials, techniques, and tools to confidently create their own unique pieces.
Some experience of crafting, drawing and/or painting is useful, but not essential as we will experiment with different processes.
This course is ideal as a creative follow-on for those that have attended the Gelli-Plate Printing course, as it will offer more ways to creatively use prints and surface designs created in those sessions.
