About this course

By attending this course, you will gain an insight to the history surrounding Tunisian and Afghan crochet. We will explore the different designs you can produce from forming some basic stitches, and you will learn how to produce your own creations. Working towards creating a variety of Tunisian crochet stitches using a crochet hook and yarn, you will be able to distinguish difference between American and English crochet stitches, and Tunisian symbols.

On this course, you will learn how to do a variety of crochet & Tunisian stitches: basic, full Tunisian crochet, knit, Purl, double, treble, extended simple stitch, half double stitch, crossed Tunisian stitch, Tunisian Crochet Simple Stitch, back loop, Tunisian crochet X stitch, reverse and twisted Tunisian crochet stitch. We will look at the history of crochet and the differences between American and English crochet stitches, and Tunisian symbols.
