This two-hour course helps you to explore learning foreign languages and cultures in particular learning German online.
The course is designed to support you in understanding some cultural aspects of the German speaking world and will give you an opportunity to grow in confidence in using zoom for learning purposes.
During the course we will explore some cultural aspects of German speaking countries, have some fun with the alphabet and numbers as well as learning some key phrases in German.
We will also look at available courses and what it takes to achieve language learning goals. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
By the end of the course, you will be able to recognize some key phrases and understand some cultural aspects of German speaking countries.
Through this course you will have the opportunity to grow in confidence with regards to online communication and the use of technology (zoom). You will also meet other learners who are interested in learning German.
What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?
As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop, smart phone, tablet or computer will be required to access the course. Zoom will be used for the live sessions and the link will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
