About this course

Lino Printing is an ideal process to for both beginners and experienced printmakers. It is a simple relief printing process that works through developing and using graphic contrast and mark making skills. During the course you will be introduced to two different ways of making a lino print. Traditional black and white contrast printing and colour reduction lino printing.

You will learn and explore the process through looking at and discussing other printmakers work and by demonstrations, personal experimentation and individual tuition on how to design, cut and print your image.

By the end of the course everyone will have produced good quality, finished prints for cards, wrapping paper and gift tags.

Learners will require:

Apron or big shirt
B and 2B Pencil, rubber (WH Smiths) Amazon
A4 cartridge paper pad (Wilko, WH Smiths, The Range, HobbyCraft, Amazon)
A4 sugar paper. Amazon
A4 tracing paper (Wilko, WH Smiths, The Range, Amazon)
