Captivate is a Local Cultural Education Partnership. They are the creative home for children and young people, schools, teachers and cultural enablers across Nottinghamshire to access high-quality arts and cultural experiences.
Digit Music created the CMPSR (kom-poh-zah) instrument and app which is used across the AO project. CMPSR is a powerful, expressive MIDI instrument that places every sound at your fingertips.
Dyskinetic is part band, part inclusion strategy. Lead by husband & wife duo Kris & Nicci Halpin, Dyskinetic happens at the intersection between Music, Technology and Disability. Making music that brings together Electronic, Classical and Modern Metal influences, Dyskinetic have been widely celebrated for their innovative sound and technologies. Through their experience as Disabled and Neurodivergent artists, Dyskinetic create inclusive artistic works that amplify Disabled voices at the cutting edge of inclusive technology.
Dyskinetic partners with a wide range of organisations to deliver inclusive opportunities for a new generation of Disabled musicians. In 2023 Dyskinetic began partnering with IYA as Lead Artist & Mentors to Able Orchestra.
Dyskinetic’s first major work with AO - Between Worlds - premiered at Music Mark 2024. They have also provided Disability Inclusion strategy consultation to a wide range of brands, including Spotify, Apple and Ableton. Kris was named a Future Sound of Britain Trailblazer at the BRIT Awards 2024.
AO are proud to have a long-standing partnership with Fountaindale School, where regular digital music sessions are delivered for students.
AO are proud to have a long-standing partnership with Music Hubs East Midlands (MEHEM), suporting the Uprising project and inclusive music development.
Nottinghamshire Music Hub: AO are supported by the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Music Hub, led by Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries.
AO are supported by Orchestras Live, a national producer creating inspiring orchestral experiences for communities across England.
Portland Charity: AO are proud to have a long-standing partnership with Portland College, who offer use of their Newstart Theatre facility for the regular North Ensemble. Regular digital music sessions are also delivered to Portland College learners.
AO are proud to have a long-standing partnership with Urban Projections, who have led the AO digital creation across multiple projects.
