Inspire is delighted to have received funding from the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for our Hucknall, Skegby and Selston: Then and Now project.
We have been working with pupils from Hucknall National CofE Primary School and Skegby Junior Academy to deliver wonderful art workshops with Edwina Kung.
Neil Pledger is also working with adults in the local communities of Hucknall, Skegby and Selston for a series of photography workshops, snapping some memorable shots and capturing the essence of today for the eyes of tomorrow!
The contemporary photography of place informed and inspired by photos from the Inspire Picture Archive, alongside artwork based on historical maps created by the pupils, will create two exciting exhibitions: Hucknall: Then and Now and Skegby: Then and Now.
We will also be bringing a series of exciting workshops, talks and events to libraries to Hucknall and Skegby Libraries - see below for dates and details.
