Inspire Music Strings UNITE! new group launching in Retford

Our new Strings UNITE! group launches on Tuesday 21st May, with a focus on drawing in musical talent from across Bassetlaw.

This first session will meet half termly, from 4-5pm after school at host venue The Elizabethan Academy, Retford. 

We are particularly interested to hear from home schooled string players.

Inspire Music will hope to attract both upper and lower string players* of all abilities from across Bassetlaw for group practice led by professional music teachers. Strings UNITE! will meet for an hour, focusing on developing performance skills using new and diverse repertoire, in an ensemble setting accessible for all.

We welcome players of the violin, viola, cello and double bass of all abilities in the Bassetlaw area. Target age is 10 to 18 years old. 

If your child is currently stuck learning upper or lower string instruments one to one, or in a small group, either online, in-school or out of school then get in touch. We can help develop group performance skills, and provide a performance platform to build confidence. Sign up to try our friendly group, led by Inspire Music's professional teaching team of string specialists. 

No entrance audition, all upper and lower string players welcome (including any parents who play, who might like to join with their child).
