UpRising! New funding for SEND music activities


Nottinghamshire Music Hub are part of a new Midlands regional project, UpRising! that has secured funding for music making activities supporting children and young people with special education needs and disabilities (SEND).

New award by Youth Music, with funding from Arts Council England launched Tuesday 17th November 2020.

The UpRising! Project has secured funding for 3 years. and will support music making activities for children and young people with special education needs and disabilities (SEND) from across Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

Aims

MEHEM UpRising! will increase region wide collaboration, improve delivery of activity with and for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, strengthen the regions' workforce and enhance organisational development to improve and deliver high quality music-making activities.
