About this course

Are you looking for a fun FREE activity to do with the kids over the Easter Holidays?

Drop in at Kirkby Library and learn how to create an Easter bunny origami bookmark. Creating your own bookmark is a great introduction to origami and it also encourages reading, as in the end this lovely project will find its place in a book at home.

This activity is aimed at adults and children aged around 4-11

This event is for learners wishing to build their maths confidence to support their child and help with their own progression.

Space is limited at this FREE event – reserve your place today by clicking on the link and completing the enrolment form. This will also enter you into a prize draw to win a £100 of shopping vouchers (must attend the event to qualify for prize draw)

What will be covered on the course?

During this session, you and your children will be guided by our tutors to fold a piece of paper into the shape of a bunny bookmark! You will then be able to use your creative skills to decorate the bunny with ears and googly eyes.

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?

On completion of this session, learners will be able to:

  • Understand how to fold diagonally to create a triangle
  • Construct a 2D shape out of paper
  • Decorate a bookmark to create an easter bunny character

What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?

None

Will the learner receive anything for free for attending?

Learners can take home their bookmarks
