How does Adventures in Music benefit my child?
Singing songs helps to boost vocabulary and language.
Children pick up on different sounds within words of the songs supporting young
children to sound out written words when they start to learn to read.
Music and movement activities enable children to improve self-expression,
hand-eye coordination, physical activity and learn new concepts in a fun and
engaging way.
Music Passport
Children will have the chance to develop and practice a range of musical skills. Each child will receive an Adventures in Music passport (pictured below), collecting stamps for every fun skill learned!
Inspire Online Taster Sessions
During 2020 the Inspire Music team were busy creating a series of Adventures in Music Online videos. This series of taster videos were for families to continue to enjoy Adventures in Music at home and to give an idea as to what the sessions are like. You can watch them all by clicking this link.
I enjoyed watching some of the children visibly grow in confidence during the sessions and socialise with others and was able to easily identify those who attended regularly because they stood out in terms of attention, engagement and ability.
Don't forget that you can sign up to our Children and Families mailing list to hear about Adventures in Music and other family events. To sign up click this link.
