Inspire are delighted to announce that artist Sian Watson and author Ashley Thorpe have been selected as the 2026 Artist and Author in Residence and will co-create the exhibition and workshops inspired by the Summer Reading Challenge theme, Read to the Beat.

Working with eleven of Inspire's twinned primary schools, artist Sian Watson and author Ashley Thorpe and the primary school children have collaborated to create the OFFBEAT Exhibition!
