Business & IP Centre Nottinghamshire provides library members access to a range of market research, company information and business databases to support your business information needs

Our databases can be accessed from our Business Information Points. If you are travelling to a library to use these resources, we recommend calling or emailing in advance to book a computer.

  • COBRA (Complete Business Reference Adviser): A practical and comprehensive resource for anyone wanting to start a business, write a business or marketing plan or conduct research into a new market. COBRA can also be accessed at home with your Inspure or City library card number! 

  • Kompass, Easy BusinessA global business to business directory which enables you to find new business leads. This can be accessed remotely. 

  • StatistaStatista provides research and market analysis across 150+ countries. A powerful tool, which captures and visualises global stories so you can understand what drives consumers.

  • GrantfinderEnables you to identify and apply for funding, featuring over 8,000 continuously updated funding opportunities. It’s the leading funding database in the UK covering local, national and international sources of funding, including charitable trusts, societies and more. Appointment with BIPC Advisor required.

  • Local Data OnlineLocal Data Online has a team that are on the ground daily, physically examining every retail location across the UK to capture an accurate and dynamic picture of the UK high street. You can explore historic analysis, present and future forecasts from this data, enabling you to make better strategic decisions regarding locations. Appointment with BIPC Advisor required.
