Home Library Service

We love our libraries. They're fun, cosy, and safe spaces where everyone can enjoy themselves; but if there's a reason why you can't get to your local library, that's no problem! With our easy home delivery service, we'll come to you.

How does it work?

  • If you are unable to get to the library yourself, fill in our Home Library Service form or contact Ask Inspire. You'll need your library card handy, and we'll ask for some details about the kind of books you would like - they can be paperback, audiobook, large print and everything in between!
  • Staff at your local library will select suitable titles especially for you, and check these out to your library card.
  • One of our friendly volunteers will deliver the books straight to your door, free of charge.

Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and as always, you can email ask@inspireculture.org.uk or phone on 01623 677 200 if you have any queries.

We also offer Click and Collect!

Click and Collect Service

  • Fill in our Click and Collect form or contact Ask Inspire, providing us with some details about the kind of books and DVDs you’d like.
  • Our staff will choose suitable items based on your criteria.
  • We will get in touch with you by telephone to arrange a convenient collection time.
  • Let us know if you have a friend or family member who can collect and return the items for you.

Items can be returned to libraries at your next Click and Collect session. We are still unable to accept reservations or Inter-Library Loan requests at present as part of Click and Collect. However if you are visiting a library you may reserve and collect items in the usual way.

Collection can be made upon receipt of a notification and subject to library opening times.
