Did you know ? We've been bringing you culture, learning and libraries since 2016. Find out more about 10 years of Inspire.
Inspire Libraries have many walking guidebooks – from those offering a stroll around the historic sites of a city, to easy family walks or longer treks for backpackers, and even walks abroad. There are too many titles to list, but here are some examples!
Did you know that you can borrow your Ordnance Survey Maps from us? We have full sets of Explore and Landranger maps covering the whole of Britain, so ideal for those wanting to explore their local areas or discover far-flung places. Plus, our library sets have handy coatings to help keep them usable when the weather is not at its best! The orange Explore maps are the only maps of Great Britain to display footpaths, car parks, contour lines, campsites, pubs, and more, while the pink Landranger maps cover long distances making them perfect for an extensive hike, cycling tour, or driving holiday.
You can also access popular walking magazines free of charge through our Libby app – just log in with your library card number and PIN! Click here for more information.
