Movie Magic has returned for one week only!
We are excited to bring our relaxed cinema experience back to Southwell for another year as part of the Inspire Poetry Festival 2025.
Families are welcome to our Small World Cinema event. We will be showing the French short film The Red Balloon with an accompanying poetry activity several times during the day in the main library. Everyone is welcome to watch and take part in this free event.
For our final event, we invite you to enjoy an afternoon watching the brilliant Ben Wishaw bring English poet John Keats to life on the big screen in Bright Star. Directed by Jane Campion, you can be sure some wonderful words will be spoken on screen.
