Winter Mini Challenge

The Winter Mini Challenge is an online challenge, which invites children aged 4 - 11 to read three books or more, between December and February, to earn digital rewards.

Following the popular Summer Reading Challenge, the characters will be back for a Winter Mini Challenge!

How to take part

Taking part in the Winter Mini Challenge is simple.   

  • Sign up at www.wintermini.org.uk to create an online profile (if you took part in the Summer Reading Challenge online you might have a profile already).  Children will be asked to provide a parent/carer email address to approve signup.
  • Read at least 3 books over the holidays. 
  • Rate and review the books on the Winter Mini Challenge website to unlock digital rewards. 

You can also play games on the website, find book reviews, activities and content from the best children’s authors and illustrators around.

The Winter Mini Challenge runs each year, from December until February.

What books can be read on the Winter Mini Challenge?
