Children & Young People’s Library Survey 2025

Have your say on your library service!

Please help us to provide the best possible library service for your family by taking part in our children and young people's public library user survey.

This survey is for 0-16 year olds to give their views, and parents/carers will be asked to complete the survey on behalf of their child if they are unable to complete it themselves.

This survey is open until Sunday 6th July 2025!  So don't delay...have your say!

We are proud of our libraries which we deliver on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council. Libraries are at the heart of the community and we'd love to know what you think about the services we provide to our youngest visitors. Your feedback will help us to improve your library service – including customer care, book stock, events and more.

You can complete the survey online either from home or by using one of our public computers at your local library!

This survey is about your library. How you use it, why you use it and whether you are happy with it.

  • The survey should only take 3 to 5 minutes for you to answer
  • Please answer as many questions as you can
  • If you do not understand a question please ask the library staff for help
  • Please read the instructions given with each question on how to answer. Some will ask you to tick a box or to provide a mark out of ten, where 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest score.

If you are a parent or a carer then please complete one survey for each child, and please ensure you give the child’s views.
