Digital Spaces is coming to Nottinghamshire libraries!

We are thrilled to announce that Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries is one of the nine library services in England selected to participate in the groundbreaking Digital Spaces program. This innovative initiative, in collaboration with Arts Council England, BFI, with National Lottery Funding, and The Space, is set to launch in 2025 and promises to revolutionise digital engagement and accessibility in our libraries. 

Virtual Reality Library is back!

Get ready to be amazed by our new collection of VR experiences right here in your local library! The innovative Digital Spaces programme, in collaboration with Arts Council England, BFI, with National Lottery Funding, and The Space, will bring more exciting VR experiences to libraries this autumn. 

Be amazed by 7 thrilling experiences including Wallace & Gromit in The Grand Getaway, David Attenborough’s Conquest of the Skies, and Laika, the graphic novel adaptation following the true story of earth’s first space traveller – Laika the dog!

We're also excited to collaborate with local communities and partners to develop and create an innovative new digital project. And, if you’re a budding filmmaker or just curious about the process, you can dive into the world of 180-degree immersive filmmaking in hands-on masterclasses led by the talented team at Neon 8!
