Lost Words Virtual Exhibition: Library Gallery Tour

Lost words of Nottinghamshire illustration

Our Lost Words exhibition is now touring library galleries until the end of 2022. The exhibition features poetry by local children and young people inspired by Nottinghamshire dialect words - past and present - alongside beautiful illustrations inspired by Hannah Sawtell.

Watch a video trailer of the exhibition in situ Beeston Library, view photos of it at Mansfield Central Library and Worksop Library galleries, and view the full exhibition tour, below.

Plus, don't miss special Lost Words Dialect Poetry workshops with Lost Words poet Andrew Graves at each of our gallery venues. Find out more.

The project was led by Professor Natalie Braber of Nottingham Trent University in partnership with Inspire and was supported with funding from the National Lottery by Arts Council England, and the Miner2Major Landscape Partnership Scheme.
