Stapleford Library Refurbishment

New learning facility - Stapleford Library and Learning Centre

Stapleford Library has reopened as Stapleford Library and Learning Centre and will undergo further refurbishment from the 26th March to improve signage and outdoor space at the front of the building. Work is set to last ten weeks with the library and learning centre remaining open for our community during this time. To help us ensure the health and safety of our customers our car park will be closed and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Public parking can be found at Cliff Hill Avenue, which is the closest car park by foot.

The improvements have been made possible following a £741k investment from the Stapleford Towns Fund. Broxtowe Borough Council was awarded £21.1m from the Governments Towns Deal fund aimed at regenerating 10 towns across the UK. The library plan is just one of six projects to make Stapleford a great place to live, work and enjoy by providing facilities to enhance standards of living and opportunities.

Three new learning spaces have been created within an updated library layout which will accommodate the same amount of stock as well as computers, floor space for children and exhibitions. Our Adult Learning team will increase the offer in Stapleford providing entry level skills training, community and family learning opportunities.
